"Willis said Cobbins, a 6-foot-8 post, is considered one of the top college prospects in the state. Willis said at least 15 Division I schools have inquired about Cobbins.
Notre Dame and LSU are now jumping in the picture for Michael. His list is continuing to grow. Baylor, Marquette, New Mexico, Arizona St., Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Notre Dame, LSU, Wichita St., San Diego, SMU, and Texas St. I expect more Pac-10, MWC, and Big East schools to get in the mix as well as schools from the ACC and SEC.
Michael currently has a wingspan of 7'0"+ and he is expected to grow several more inches (may grow to be between 7'0" - 7'2"). His upside is tremendous.
Michael Cobbins scored 29 points to lead the Dons while Quincy Hicks had 16 and Taylor Meander had 14.
Michael Cobbins- 6'9" 215 lb Power Forward

In other news... after rising to #21 in the state Cobbins is still not as highly ranked as Ryan Harp was by Texas Hoops and right about the same as Alex Malone, who I believe was rated the #20ish player in the state by Texas Hoops.papawasamustang wrote:The good news for Cobbins is his 2010 ranking has jumped to #21 in the state. The bad news is I just noticed where the big fella is no longer interested in us.

Harp was #14 & Malone was #21.
This is just one of several reasons why Doh must go.
