We have 25 players now in this class. With the addition of the new LB ( who i wont say names until Armen at Pony Pride posts it) and porter commiting to LT

I do believe we are done. With the 4 greyshirts that puts us at 29. Now we have to assume that maybe 1 or 2 guys will not qualify which will put us at maybe 2 or 3 greyshirts next year correct?

3 Greyshirts have now enrolled Emshoff, Line and Robert Parker. Whose the 4th? Right now we are in the range of 92-95 scholarships(guesstimate)-need to get to 85 by August. So there will be some attrition one way or another

Even though we are not loaded with three stars I personally have a lot more faith in this staffs recruiting ability to find good 2 stars and turn them into players.
JJ had a tenth of the recruiting budget he has here and could not even fly out recruits to Hawaii usually. And he did most of his recruiting by tape alone and not even seeing the kids ( or so i heard)
So anyway, I have a feeling that a lot of these guys will work out. And many of our lower rated players have D-1 scholarship offers, or at least multiple 1-AA! Which is still better than many or Benetts!

Wasn't Boyd going to be a greyshirt, but then he paid his own way and joined the team. I don't know how that affects the number of greyshirts for this year.

How many years does a gray shirt have to play as per the NCAA. Does the gray shirt year count or does a player still get and extra 5 to play 4.

he essentially can end up in a sixth athletic year at a school. Year 1-Greyshirt, Year 2 -Redshirt, Years 3, 4, 5 and 6.

Do any of the early enrollees/greyshirts have a shot a significant playing time or starting? I'm thinking the Margus Hunt could easily be in the DL rotation with his size and athletic ability.
Those who complain about a problem are simply wasting time they could use to fix it.

Wasn't Vaifale going to have a 2 year religious mission? When the kids do these missions, they do not immediately count against their signing year's class do they?
