Braylon Williams Makes Lubbock AJ Texas Top 100

pretty strange-the hometown paper will usually throw in some otherwise overlooked surprises but a 2A kid that was a TE from East Texas in the Lubbock Top 100 is surprising-someone must like him.

That is the second top 100 list I have seen him make. Wasnt he also in the Dave Campbells top 150? or was it 300? Anyway I think he is only 17 right now and after a redhsirt year will be a beast.

Williams, from the press box anyway, sizes up w/ Kyle Kriegel from Elysian Fields and who is going to Texas. He plays like it, too. Granted, it's 2A, and I have the same opinion as Stallion vis-a-vis 2A players...they have to be head and shoulders above the others 100% of the time to be considered Div 1A.

BTW, saw Kriegel's dad this AM. Said Kyle was at UT already w/ 7 or 8 other guys. Mac Brown was at EF High School last week...I wonder why if Kyle is already at UT. Wonder if there is anybody there that SMU needs to be looking at?
