Hello to all that read this post.
It is that time of year that we fans provide a little financial support for our SMU Mustangs.
A few of us on this board are fund drive workers and we ask people for money, stocks, gold or... that old car in the driveway.... Not really.
SMU is working hard to change the attitude of athletics. The focus on Football and Basketball is obvious. Look at the 3 star and one 4 star recruits that signed this year. When was the last time that happened?
Thank you for your past suppport and I hope that you are blessed enough to be able to share a little with SMU.
Please send me a PM and I will write up the pledge for and send you a bill.
If you have interest in becoming a fund drive worker.... I would love to have your passion for SMU directed to help the athletic department.
Peace be with you always.
George S. Simons

Nope...the other way around. They changed it from a calendar year membership to the June 1 to May 31 membership period. They always wanted the pledges paid by May 31, but the membership actually was for a calendar year. So now the membership period matches the Athletic Department's fiscal year...I think.DiamondM75 wrote:I received my renewal in the mail Saturday and plan to renew this week. However, the enclosed letter says that Mustang Club membership is from June 1 through May 31. I thought they changed this to a calendar year membership? Did I miss something or did SMU?
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
