Jones has previously mentioned two schools at the top of his list - Texas A&M and SMU. The Mustangs aren't exactly known for pursuing or landing four star prospects but White complimented the SMU staff and said Jones' interest in them is very real.

"SMU is recruiting him pretty hard," said White. "You don't think that they would normally do that, but they have done a good job with him. It would be a good place for him. We played down there in a playoff game. He liked that it was close to home. I think he's very interested in SMU now.

DJ Jones is a rb and I that story's been around awhile even though the date on that posting is from today. Love to have him regardless.
