JT received a pleasant surprise in Collins, who showed his breakaway ability on the night's longest play. Collins, another outgoing junior, played quarterback last year on the junior varsity.
"The first team did a tremendous job as far as executing the plays and blocking, catching and throwing" Rush said. "Ricky Collins showed that all throughout spring practice this year. We knew he could catch and had explosive speed."
