SMU is the worst team in the WAC!!!!

How proud SMU fans must be when they look at the standings and see that SMU is the only WAC team without a win this year. Hard to believe that this team has less wins than the 1989 team had by this point in the season.

Should we give up football with your valuable insight? Have no patience for rebuilding? Nuke our administration, coaches and student-athletes? They are wearing our colors with SMU on their chest. Is your option to root for TCU, UT, Cowboys? I have no option because I am a MUSTANG. Withdrawing support for my school never occurs to me. With your attitude, the loss of your support is no loss.

I am certainly disappointed that it is taking so much time, but the current clock started less that two years ago. Firing Bennett and coaching staff makes no sense. Do we really want to hit the "reset" button after less than one and a half seasons. I never thought merely hiring a new coach and staff every two years made any sense. Your strategy, I presume, is to trash college students (and young at that) and those committed to their development. Get real.

Go you, SMU!

Then there's no reason SMU can't beat San Jose. I didn't make the game last night, in part because my job is taking me to the Bay Area this week, so I'm sticking around for the game. Sure hope my second view of the Ponies turns out better than the first (I was in Dallas for the OSU debacle.)
