The SJSU AD said last night that SMU and Rice are going to C-USA. I don't remember him mentioning Tulsa. I'll have to go back and see that part of the tape. Okay anything is possible. I'll buy it. He also said TCU wants to go to the MWC and that the MWC wants TCU but probably not until next spring.. Again okay I'll buy it. Someone else has Army and Navy to BE? Again Okay I'll buy it. That's all I got.

He did mention Tulsa to C-USA also. He also mentioned Utah St and NMSU to the WAC. I'll buy it. Out.

I was very surprised by how candid he was with his remarks, and how certain he seemed to be that the C-USA movements would take place....and soon.

You would think you would want to stay mum on the subject until (and if) it plays out. These kind of comments only add to the instability of the WAC.

Don't we want to end up in the same conference with TCU?

Wouldn't it be bad if as soon as SMU joins CUSA TCU bails?

My hat is off to TCU, they have proved "it can get done" by a little small private school in the DFW Metroplex.

It's not "I wanna be like Mike".....It's "we wanna be like TCU"! (Rated in Top 20!)

I sure hope we can stay in the same conference with TCU......it cuts travel costs, allows us to play a top 25 team, and is a great cross-town rivalry.

Of COURSE we need to be in the same conference as TCU. There's absolutely no logical reason we're not. It makes too much sense. Hopefully we will get the CUSA bid, and their MWC effort falls through.
