Post by Nacho »

i do my best to post only positive things about tcu but they have never had a good helmet. the one that resembles the a&m helmet is especially horrible. current one is laughable.

blame Northwestern. Someone at TCU probably thought it was pretty cool about the time Northwestern went to the Rose Bowl vs USC. TCU stole their look immediately thereafter.

Patterson talkin about "we might break out the black uniforms for this group." Ooooh, I'm really scared. Last I checked, black is not their school color. Maybe we should wear green

You guys remind me of TCU fans in the late 80s, early 90s. We used to bag on other teams' uniforms and scholastic prowess when we knew we were about to get drilled on the football field too.

I wonder if you'll score as much as Texas State's 21 points? Or do you feel more comfortable talking about how well each school's drama majors have fared?

dude, we scored 14 points on OURSELVES in our last game. a) what do you expect, and b) the 14 was against Washington State, so if your D doesnt rack up 21, then you should be ashamed

Soooo - you bagged on someone else's academics? Exactly how could you have done that? Dissed numbers 150-200 on the list? Thats like saying our football team talked smack to SF Austin after the game.

And just to talk football for a second - i dont think we get it done in Ft Worth this time....but I do think from here on out these games get bunch more interesting -and its about time.

I second that. And as far as bagging on your scholastics and uniforms, it is very much justified.

There are over 3000 colleges and universities in the US. TCU is in the top 3% of those. I see no shame in that. Its like arguing which one of Tony Romo's girlfriends is hotter. They're all smokin' hot (well, Simpson was).

So... that example didn't really work then?

Paul Lukas would give them and F ....'67 didnt look half bad tho, i really don't care it it emulates A&M but its clean, conservative and easy to remember. tcu is only two of those however, you decide...

You remind me of the fans of teams that used to play TCU in the late 80s and early 90s. They used to point out that you bagged on other teams' uniforms and scholastic prowess when you knew that you were about to get drilled on the football field too.

Then they would make a snide comment that would make you realize that if they really thought they were better than you, they wouldn't be trying to prove it on your message board.

I don't mind their current helmet!!! On the plus side, at least they've kept a consistent look for over a decade now and let their results speak for themselves on the field. LT looked especially good in that uniform! I hope we get some more long lasting memories with teams in the current uniform! Regardless of our on field results it is our best and most classic look! Here's to having both teams in the top 25 on a regular basis! What could be better than filling in the bowl in our horseshoe and having 45,000-50,000 fans at our games each year and battling it out in late november for a bcs bowl!

Honeslty, I would love nothing more than having Memphis bolt for the Big East and having us UH, Tulsa, etc be good enough to entice TCU to come back to CUSA and just redistribute teams sending Tulane to CUSA East.
