guys, its not the kids fault. he should have never, ever been playing to begin with. Everything that some of us predicted would happen has happened with Bo. He didn't win or deserve the job, he wasnt ready, and now his confidence has been shattered as a result. Not to mention we have wasted what will become 3, count em, 3 years on this project.

I have seen good reads, and a strong arm and looking off DB's.

Where does it go at times.

I am not saying he can't play a whole game... I just see him unravel.

The other part is up to Mr. Jones. We have others in the bullpen.

That's my assessment too. I can see why June was attracted to this guy. Bo has a good arm and can throw a tight spiral, fast. Unfortunately, he can't command this throws and doesn't go through all his reads. He doesn't have "it". Not saying he won't or can't, but he certainly doesn't have it now.

With as many INT's as he's had, high throws, missed chances, etc., it's simply time to give someone else a shot. I'm not going to rag on the kid, because he's just that, a kid. But if he continues to play, and play just like this, it makes me wonder what exactly would he have to do in order for JJ to sit him?

Except for the blatant interception I saw a better controlled Bo this game. Keep in mind this is one of the best defenses in college, he didn't do great but I saw him check down. The pass to McNeil for a touchdown was just that.

He needs to continue to work, do I think he is the 2nd coming, NO. But I do think he could lead us to a bowl this year. Just hope we don't play any more games in the rain, of course that will effect every quarterback, including Dalton. His accuracy was pretty bad in the 1st half in the rain and the second half they pretty much ran it down our throat.

The only reason he didn't have more INTs yesterday was because he was throwing way over the receivers' heads. Thank God TCU didn't have people playing centerfield on some of those plays, otherwise, he could have easily had 5 instead of 2.

Can't blame it on the rain, because those throws are pretty indicative of his arm this year.

He doesn't have "it". quote]

" IT "...... that was always my read.

However I thought his play improved as lack luster as it may have been. Two interceptions are better than six. I still think he can play and win in CUSA.

I wonder what he was thinking when he wrapped up the one and sent it Fed X as an early Xmas present... I would have to see the play over again in JJ’s class room. But it did not seem as though he had a great amount of pressure on the play. Sorry I screamed an obscenity at you on that play BO.

Exactly — he played against a very good defense in conditions that were hardly ideal for a passing offense, and with one starting receiver (Beasley) out, and another (Robinson) who obviously was hobbled. He wasn't great, but it was special teams that killed us.

Wash St returned two INT's for TD's, UAB returned one for a TD, SFA returned two inside the 5, which turned into easy TD's. BLM didn't give the other team 14 easy points this game. Anyone can see that's an improvement....you have to really want to see it!

He made good reads, and for the most part, was throwing to open receivers. He just can't hit anyone in stride. He had one sideline pass to Robinson early in the game that was a strike. Besides that, the only good throws were the two shuffle passes to McNeil and WR screens, where the receiver is standing still. He does have a gun, but it's like one of those really old revolutionary guns with no rifling. You can aim and you can fire, but it's anyone's guess as to where the bullet actually goes.

Great reference/analogy. I'd say it's like a rocket w/no fins - much greater velocity, more expensive, and even harder to predict.
