With the Tulsa loss we are in the lead now. I must admit I am somewhat surprised by this.

It is funny to see Houston 4th in conference standings, but 17th in the nation. It will all change very soon.

I know that it is unlikely, but it would be outstanding if we could shock the world with beating Houston. But it is that slim chance at glory that has made me free up my weekend for a road trip to Houston.

How big would it be if we came out with a victory against Houston? We are always one quarter away from finishing a game like we have played pretty much most of the season. We already have two wins on the east side, what kind of message will be sent to the rest of conference usa when we play all four quarters this weekend?

I am excited and can't be there, but we match up well with them athletecally (sp) for the first time in a long time....to heck with them....whoever goes to the game cheer the Stangs on!

I think a TCU victory would have been more of a "shock the world." Houston is good, but absolutely beatable. We will give up points, but our D is tons better this year. Also, it's only a matter of time before Bo Levi stops missing wide open TD plays (hoping). There should be plenty to take advantage of against Houston's D, which is not good.

If our defense can create turnovers and we can capitalize on those by getting touchdowns and not settling for field goals or giving them the ball back with nothing to show for it, then we have a shot. We must win the turnover battle and make Houston pay for their mistakes.

I am kind of like PonyGrad. I want to enjoy being undefeatef in conference as long as possible.
