Good stuff. Student senate taking a stand for Peruna. Read up!

(I realize this is on another forum, but someone tipped me off to this and I didn't see it here).

One of the authors was/is a Peruna handler. I don't know about the other two.

where have all the arguments for replacing Peruna with a Big Horse gone? That SMU should correct an 80 year mistake? That Peruna doesn't represent the strength or size we want representing SMU? That it would be cool for SMU to run on the field behind Cowpoke and Maybell? And don't claim those arguments weren't made all over this board a couple of weeks ago-by people now emphasizing don't worry Peruna's not going anywhere. Better damn believe it Peruna's not going anywhere. Its pretty obvious that was a FAIL. The propaganda message has obviously been changed.

whatz pretty "damn obvious" is your complete failure in staging some kind of protest in the end zone...you looked like a total dork down there while the crowd was cheering...your lies that Peruna was ever planned to be fazed out was another failure....and the prediction that the ceremony would be a disaster was proven wrong....hell everybody that matters clearly stated Peruna was not going anywhere but you needed to lie and create conspiracy crap (yeah everybody's lying) to bolster a very weak argument. you should stick to parroting your little pay football info sites...you're pretty good at that!

DONT BELIEVE THE LIES - PERUNA IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE!

Not now. I think the Administration knows it stepped in some serious horse manure when it tried to slip the geldings under the radar and hoped no one would notice. Instead they made what could have been a good partnership in a worthy cause, an epic mess and it never should have been an epic mess.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

Example No. 1- Insane the 20%er(took me less than 2 minutes)

"yes only people 70 years ago get to make traditions....the hell with anybody born after 1930!

it's obvious the younger generation will embrace this....you are like the blue hairs burning the Beatles records in the 1960's......there is no commandment that Peruna can't have a big brother...

General Patton I was not in favor of this, but it's going to happen, get over it, and embrace this new member our our family."

too bad student senate is a joke and this wasn't from a larger group of people like the sorority and fraternities. i never understood the student senate in college because they pass "bills" that no one in the admin listens to nor do other current students

Uh? How is announcing with press releases, having photo-ops with June Jones, Orisini, President Turner, Roger Staubach, and Ms Pickens, articles on web-sites and newspapers, and planning a big half-time show with the new MUSTANGS "trying to slip them under the radar"? What utter non-sense!

JJ was sneaky about the whole thing until everything was put in place. He secretly brought a horse into Ford last year to see how it would do on astroturf. Turner heard about it and was furious about it. Subsequently, JJ went around trying to find another way to get his horse, approached Ms. Botox Queen and her horse foundation, got a lot of well-known and rich people on the board of her horse foundation, and then approached Turner with his arrangement. I think that's pretty sneaky and under the radar.
