I have the original Blackberry (the one used by Columbus to communicate with the Nina and Santa Maria) and it works fine. If you are into style and gadgets that take up all of your time, all day, go with the iphone. All of my kids have it and how could they be wrong? But be prepared, with the iphone you will waste so much time each day scrolling, googleing, etc. that your post count on ponyfans will suffer dramatically. Besides, antiques are in. My trackball goes side to side and scrolls down but not up. Really is a pain. I would keep what I have now if they made it to where you could use all the features without the trackball.
