Question for Tulsa fans

Post by Ikus »

In an effort to revive the infamous "Burger Wars" thread on this site, where is the best burger in Tulsa (somewhat near the stadium)? No fast food, no little quarter-sized burgers - REAL burgers! Is there a concensus opinion of the go-to burger joint around TU?

Burger Guys, make a note, and give us a full report, if you're heading up for the game.

Ron's Hamburger's - Check out the "Big Daddy",

21st and Harvard - Hole in the wall but voted best in Tulsa many times over.

Brownie's Hamburger Stand. Make sure you have them grill the onions into the burger.
Best burger in Tulsa.

I grew up eating at Goldies. Best cole slaw in the world.

Much better choices:

1) Freddie's Hamburgers -- 10th and Lewis. Less than 1 mile from the stadium. Smaller white building across the street from Perry's Meat Market. IMO, the best in town.

2) Ron's @ 15th and Harvard is good as well, but will set your colon ablaze by the 3rd quarter. Small place on the NW Corner, behind the old gas station. Less than 1 mile from the stadium as well.

Thanks. I needed to imagine that.
I really shouldn't drink and type.
