Ladies...there are some seriously twisted people out there. Lock your doors and be very careful and aware of your surroundings wherever you are, whenever it may be. It's tragic that this had to happen to her and my heart goes out to her, and her family at home as well as with her friends at SMU.

As of this morning: 2 of those 3 are being held on other charges, one was released.

That wont give you the victims name, most of our runners are from Sweden and Denmark. Track could also mean Cross Country. Let it rest.

as curious as many of us are its really best that we not try to identify this person, psychologically this is probably enough of an ordeal without the whole community knowing who they are....im sure that she is receiving excellent care and support from her friends, family, and professionals who deal with these sorts of crises

going to HS in chicago it was constantly drilled into my head that if i was ever out with a lady friend that i make sure she got home 1st, i took many late night train rides on my own so that friends were safe even when i was downtown and in so called upper-class neighborhoods, everywhere is at risk its just that some areas are higher risk...thankfully no one i have known has been raped but plenty of them have been mugged.

keep your eyes open and be safe everyone.

I grew up in a small town, and someone I knew was raped at age 15 (by someone from out of town who was in town working on a construction project - skipped town after the story went big and is still on the loose). The media never released her name, but the town being a small town, word quickly spread about who it was. The psychological effects of the tragedy were bad enough, but the fact that everyone in town knew about it was even worse. There was no outlet for escaping reality, and the psychological healing process took a lot longer.

When the victim in this case is ready, the name will be released. Let us please try not to figure out who it is right now. If you want to solve a mystery, here's one: Just who in the Corpus Christi area was Reinebold so set on recruiting that he was thinking about renting a car when his flights kept getting cancelled?

Charges have been filed.

Dallas police have just announced a third arrest in the weekend kidnapping and sexual assault of a 20-year-old Southern Methodist University student athlete.

Luis Zuniga, 26, joins Arturo Arevalo and Alfonso Zuniga, both 28, in the Dallas County Jail today. They are accused of abducting the woman off an Old East Dallas street early Saturday morning, as she left a party with a group of friends.

Police believe the men took the victim to a deserted lot, where they raped and robbed her, before dumping her in South Dallas.

Dallas County Jail records indicate all three men are suspected of being in the country illegally.

Unfortunately, one of the assailants had a criminal record dating back to the late '90s. After being jailed at the time, he was turned over to I.C.E. and was deported without ever going to trial.

I hope they all suffer a horrible and painful death. This just represents another failure of our border protection. I understand why illegal aliens come here, and I respect those that demonstrate the work ethic that many do. However, the law is the law for a reason.
