In slop time in the 4th quarter, the commentators gushed about what June Jones' staff had done with the SMU team, talked about it being the first bowl appearance since DP, and what a great coach Jones is.

This football game means more than what the media says.

We need to know this game is not about football.

Some of us in Hawaii, know we are in harm's way. Our boys are in the Hawaii news every day.

They have been making their tours of duty two times and more.

We honor them and their families every day.

I just want to humbuly remind everyone that we ultimately sacrifice Americas' best.

Well I would hope Verne Lundquist would crow about the Ponies since he was the voice of the Dallas Cowboys for a number of years :!:
