Thoughts about Darius Johnson

Hey everyone,

I believe Darius Johnson is going to have a breakout year in 2010 and I don't think I'm alone. I just wrote an article about it actually. He seems like he has a better attitude going into this year as opposed to last. What do you guys think about him?

You could have picked a more flattering picture, where he didn't look like he was grabbing his giant football dong....

I'm not sure what to make of Darius - he obviously has talent but so far he hasn't shown anything. The key will be if the talent between his ears can match the talent below the neck.

Haha I didn't have any better options.

But yea you're right. If his attitude improves I think he could be a star, but how many times do you see a guy like him in college football (or NFL) with all the talent in the world become a nobody because of a bad attitude? Alot. So hopefully he's got a head on his shoulders.

While I was surprised with the D last year, I think the Offense is going to need to score more to take some pressure off the D this year, especially early on in the season. I hope Haynes and Darius can step up from game one while the D is working things out on their end.

Scout.com has some info on his spring practices. He told them that him and Padron had a good winter and he feels like their chemistry is close to where it needs to be for the season. He's gained some muscle weight too.
