Circle of Champions

Post by Doak 37 »

Obviously I have never posted here before but read from time to time. I am close to a Circle of Champions member and have communicated my disgust to him with the current situation. I am being told this is not going to be swept under the rug. This is my guess...no one has told me this...but for all to save face Turner should move along to the Bush Library as chairman of something and we can begin to look for a fresh leader.

Turner isn't going anywhere, and that's OK. Turner is a tool of money. He obviously isn't enthusiastic about supporting football, and he's gotten away with it.

However, if the key people actually force Turner to do what needs to be done to get football rolling, he will do it.

Ever seen him in his box when the game is going on???? Intense only begins to describe his attitude while he watches the games. However, he is a politician who understands who butters his bread so he treads water carefully. In this instance, he has blown it in a major way. This might cost him an appreciable part of that legacy he has worked to build. If he doesn't come out and issue a mea maxima culpa soon, that legacy is gonna be tarnished.........
