Once again, the Cougars flunk the three month test of College Football miserably. Washington State squeaked out a win against Montana State, and hung with SMU and UCLA on the road, but in the end the Cougars finish the season 1-11. Paul Wulff is fired, and Coug Center is shut down.
Under the best case scenario, one of the, if not the worst defense in the history of the NCAA is going to hold a June Jones offense at home to 10 points? I still maintain that we had better beat them like a step child, but even if we don't the idea that we only score 10 points is pretty laughable. Even with "Mr. Gunslinger" behind the wheel we scored 41 points. 27 for SMU and 14 for WSU.
