The other day I added SMU Mustangs to my facebook page and since then, I receive almost every football update for the upcoming 2010 SMU season. Just and FYI incase any fany pony fans on here didn't know that.

As for this season, the way I see it is this, we beat Texas Tech in Lubbuck and we go undefeated for the 2010 season. I know beating Tech at their home will be very tough to pull off, but IF we do, it just might all be down hill from there. Just an early prediction from this pony fan. SMU 28 Tech 27

I truly believe we lose to TT, and upset TCU...

Never been impressed with dalton and they lost some D....

I also thing Yenga, Ja'Garad, and Hunt become NFL type players this year...

I think the exact opposite. I think you have a real shot of upsetting Tech with all the coaching and scheme changes going on there. Dalton may not be flashy but he is good for 50 rushing and 225 passing a game. Makes defenses account for him, distributes the ball well amongst his receivers and rarely commits turnovers.

He is a fine and capable QB, but they talk him up as a great QB...I think he is very average with limited upside who benefits from great D and RBs...TCU D will be a little different this year losing its 2 best players/leaders...

I think Dalton is to TCU what McIlhenny was to SMU. Not the flashiest qb but steady and runs the offense to perfection as did Lance.
