Hard to believe there's a gap there with just 18 months to go before 2012's Signing Day.

Re: Class of 2012
get used to it with 85% of the top 2011 players already committed- all Texas schools are already working on 2012 like I've never seen.

Re: Class of 2012
Stallion, just for sh***s and giggles, I took a look at the 2011 commitment list on Rivals. It would appear that around 55% vs. 85% (your est.) of the top 250 have committed. Is your number of 85% for the state of Texas, or is this statistic comprised of a larger universe of prospects ? Just curious.

Re: Class of 2012
I mean Top players in Texas ie. the consensus Top 100. Not the Top players for a school competing for 7th or 8th in Texas recruiting because it has suffered 20 years from the Death Penalty-or the Top Secret recruits found in the Pumpkin Patch-I mean the Top Players in Texas. I don't apply the SMU Sliding Scale. I find it hard to characterize players in the bottom half of the recruiting pool as The Top Players in Texas. Here is a good list to apply-a consensus of all the major lists-although some haven't been added yet-I got 83 commitments from this Top 100.
