Field at Ford

When the TCU band ended its halftime song-and-dance routine by forming the letters "T C U" on our field, three people raced around the outline of the letters pushing small fertilizer dispensers. Does anyone know if actual damage was done to the field (by dropping something that killed the grass), or was it done just for show to make up for last year, when our band scorched a Diamond M into the field at Amon Carter?

There was nothing in them. The people that ran around with them carried them over their head until they got to the "tcu" formation. Hey, maybe all of the band members, like the football team, bench 400 pounds.

I sure hope there was nothing in them. The field looked awesome for the last game. I especially liked the Ford Stadium logos in the North endzone.
