This is probably nothing since JJ is prone to making outrageous claims, especially with numbers, though not on purpose. But I must ask, what does this mean?
"I don't think SMU had a junior commitment in 25 years and we've got 14 now," Jones said. "That's probably an indication of what that win did."
Do we have 14 secret verbals from Juniors, or is he talking about the 2011 class?

lol....I read that before and ddin't give it a thought.
I guess, I assumed that he was referring to the 2011 class -- if it's still summer and school hasn't started, they're all juniors still. maybe?

Sounds like his trademark hyperbole, and he is a bit off on the verbal count.

I was wondering if it didn't have something to do with the Juniors who commit before the end of their Junior year.

I've noticed he's never been afraid of a little hyperbole

Just like it cost like, 800 billion dollars to provide security for the last Olympics? Or that it costs 60k a semester to go to SMU? He's prone to little slip-ups like those...it's a little maddening.

Yes, however winning can make us forget a lot of his minor shortcomings.

He was a lot worse about it when he was HC at Hawaii especially when it came to Colt Brennan.

SMU's estimated budget for scholarship/loan purposes was almost $50,000 per year.

50k per year > 120k per year. One is much, much, much less than the other.
