Watching on all access from NC...stadium looked freakin empty. Seriously, we have a good team, it is our home opener. was the weather that bad?? Horrible, at least from the tv perspective

guessing the announced attendance will be close to 16k; looked like maybe 13-14 in attendance (have to remember those hiding behind the glass).

Do the cameras face the visiting section? It looked a lot worse driving east on Mockingbird past the stadium than going west. Very solid home side with full boxes. 19,200 is my guess at announced attendance. Lots of coming/going.

east (visitor's side) is the "camera view" and it's usually pretty sparse; especially with a visitor like UAB that doesn't have any bigger following than we do. Did they travel as many as 200 for this game?

On channelsurfing they advertised, several times, that you could buy tickets to next Saturday's game and have lunch/watch the game from the Hall of Champions. Mentioned how the kickoff time is 2:30 and you would be glad you were watching the game inside w/AC. While it might attract some, it takes away from fillling up the stands!

CLub was crowded, stadium was not...2 solid student sections...hope they come back next week...not a great game but I will take it..

Attendance was pathetic. On the other hand, probably more people than I've ever seen on the Boulevard. Packed in front of Dallas Hall watching Everclear 15 minutes before kickoff - their power should have been turned off 30 mins before the game. Saw tons of people leaving to go home before the game started...I'm guessing 5,000 people went to the tailgate who never went to the game.

Even worse, two cops (sheriff's dept) made the people in front of me sit down...the good fans get punished.

I was sitting in section 104 and got yelled at to sit down...THIS IS A FOOTBALL GAME. I don't understand fans like that, we aren't here munching popcorn, kickin back like we're at the movies. NO THIS IS A FOOTBALL GAME and I know yall paid good money for those seats so please, for the love of God, do not tell us to sit down quietly. ...Sorry I just had to get that off my chest.

Texas Rangers vs New York Yankees may have contributed to a lack of attendance at tonight's game. It was SRO at The Ballpark.
