Predict attendance for Wash St
Unfortunately I'm saying 15,200. Wish I could say about 10,000 more but some people just still don't care for some reason. Too many excuses because it's a 2:30 game.

Re: Predict attendance for Wash St
weather permitting, we do a little better than the 16,600 for the opener; will depend on how many parents bring school age kids out for an afternooner
wishful thinking?

15,723 announced because of some bused-in kids and more WSU fans than the 41 brought by UAB. Will look like much less though because Dallasites melt in the heat, it's a fact.

I think you guys are nuts if you believe more than 11,000 will be there.
I hope I'm woefully inaccurate

Ticket office sounded busy, I'm with RGV - 13K or so.
7pm game would have made more sense - do we much money for TV from CBS C?
TCU Game - they will say it's sold out but it won't be.

14,000
Can't imagine WSU has any more fans than the two rows of UAB fans last week.
2:30 game will decrease family attendance as many will have soccer/football, etc games.
Predicting low/mid 90's with continued humidity and no shade spells for less than 10K by second half unfortunately.

revised Weather forecast. Instead of 90-the high now is predicted to be 95. At least we are in the shade in late afternoon.

17,500...
Ray, people will come, Ray. They'll come to Iowa for reasons they can't even fathom. They'll turn up your driveway, not knowing for sure why they're doing it. They'll arrive at your door as innocent as children, longing for the past. "Of course, we won't mind if you have a look around," you'll say. "It's only twenty dollars per person." They'll pass over the money without even thinking about it; for it is money they have and peace they lack.
And they'll walk out to the bleachers, and sit in shirt-sleeves on a perfect afternoon. They'll find they have reserved seats somewhere along one of the baselines, where they sat when they were children and cheered their heroes. And they'll watch the game, and it'll be as if they'd dipped themselves in magic waters. The memories will be so thick, they'll have to brush them away from their faces.
