I was'nt sure I heard correctly this does confirm what I heard by Chris Berman ESPN highlights. The later highlights did not repeat the same information or highlight reel.
The Rams drew first blood when the Rams forced the Vikings in go three downs and out and LB Jamie Duncan blocked P Eddie Johnson’s punt. The block was recovered by CB Kevin Garrett and returned for nine yards. On the Rams’ first play from scrimmage, RB Marshall Faulk scored on an 18-yard touchdown run to give the Rams a 7-0 lead.
