SMU football legend Craig James brings his Texas college tour home
James’ message to young people: “Get off the sidelines and into the game!”
DALLAS – The Craig James Tour makes its second stop Monday night on the campus of Southern Methodist University. The SMU football legend, nationally prominent college football analyst, and successful business leader will appear at the Hughes-Trigg Student Center at 7 p.m. for a one-hour interactive conversation with Dallas-area college students.
Craig James is traveling to three universities in three months with one goal—getting young people off the sidelines and into the game. Students will get to hear how Craig has made a name for himself on and off the field by speaking up and getting involved. The first event was held at Texas A&M University on September 27th, while the fall leg of the tour concludes at the University of Texas-Austin on November 8th.

He started at A&M, SMU this coming Monday, finished at UT Austin on Nov. 8th. That's the whole tour, at least for the foreseeable future.

He sure has made a name for himself by "speaking up and getting involved" off the field -- and not a good one. His helicopter parenting compounded with the power of the World Wide Leader has made him quite infamous.

Very slim turnout, maybe 40 or 50 people. I expected many more. His message was to young people to "get off the sidelines and make a difference." I speculate he's setting the stage for a political career.
