This From the 2003 Football Awards Reception:
President's Award (Presented To The Mustangs Who Contribute Most To The Success Of The Total Football Program): Chris Cunningham & Keylon Kincade.

Is it safe to say the award has been renamed from the 'A. Kenneth Pye President's Award' to simply the 'President's Award'. If so, this is truly a step in the right direction.

Naming any SMU Athletic Achievement Award after Ken Pye is the equivalent of the United Nations naming a Humanitarian Award after Saddam Hussein, the Chamber of Commerce naming an Entrepreneur Award after Fidel Castro, or the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences naming an Acting Award after Sylvester Stallone.
