Just checked the latest NCAA stats:
# 26 Zach Line (SMU) 972 yds.
# 31 Mark Ingram (Alabama) 641 yds.
Did anyone see this coming?

To be fare Mark Ingram was hurt in the beginning of the season. Missed a couple of games in the process. Not a really fare comparison.

Is it fair to ask how many yards ALL the 'bama RBs have gained and all those at SMU?

It is not fair.... The defensive foes Bama has faced are much stronger than what SMU has faced overall.

Don't forget the fact that he also splits the number of carries with Trent Richardson who might have as much or more talent than Ingram
