That's great. I just hope that he hasn't maxed out his SMU career in his sophomore year like Justin Willis did. Still disappointed JW didn't stick it out and build his character as part of the bowl winning team last year.

JWill had a couple of other things on his plate last year. Still like the kid as a Mustang.

Look, I did not intend to imply the guy lacked character. I'm just saying that sticking with a team even if you feel you have been treated unfairly builds character. Therein lies the difference. I liked JW quite a lot, so back off your usual zenmaster crap, alright?

Oh good Lord, you guys are either missing my point, or I am not making myself clear enough, so let's try again....

I, in no way, was trying to bash Justin Willis and claim he had no character. I was stating that I wish he had stayed with the team and gotten the opportunity to enjoy the bowl game. As part of that, I think seeing things through, even when times are tough, continues to build your character, not that there was a lack thereof.

Did that help?

And as far as the zenmaster reference, it had to do with the fact that Samurai Stang implied I had none.

Too many have fallen under the sway of the false Phil Jackson.

I apologize for my rush to judgment. His tale is a sad one with which I sympathize.

Samurai Stang, where in Japan are you? I am stationed up north at Misawa.

Cheers,
