I know there has been speculation about the Armed Forces Bowl in our stadium ( ) as well as the Hawaii Bowl if we don't win the chance to go to the Liberty Bowl. Any other possibilities? Which seems to be the frontrunner?

Anyone know?
Honestly I think it's AFB no matter what. SEC probably blocks us from getting in the Liberty Bowl.
They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security
If you don't want to look, basically the SEC wants bowl matchups versus teams from AQ conference whenever possible, it would need 10 eligible teams to fulfill it's Liberty Bowl obligation. Chances are if they can fill their slot they push for a Big East team to be invited instead of the C-USA champ.

If the SEC gets two in BCS then both Tennessee and Georgia have to win their last games to fill up SEC Bowls. If they don't both win but 1 does the SEC has a clause in Liberty Bowl Contract that says they can insist on playing a Big East team instead of CUSA. CUSA would instead go to Birmingham. I think its still a very real possibility-not necessarily a probability- that SMU goes to Hawaii Bowl again

You mean Hawaii Bowl if we win C-USA?

So when does the SEC have the right to boot C-USA?? At any time? Only when it can't fulfill all of its bowl obligations?
What is the rationale behind the clause? It seems to suggest that if the SEC is crappy and can't fill their bowls, then they somehow have the right to boot the C-USA team. I'm sorry, but I need a little help here.
Here's to those that wish us well and all the rest can go to hell!!!
Georgia plays Georgia Tech Saturday and Tennesse plays Kentucky also on Saturday. We will likely know after those games because it seems likely that 2 out of SEC Champ, Auburn (if they lose) or LSU will be in BCS Bowls
