Very happy to see us in yet another bowl game. Bummed about Padron, like others here, I feel he's regressed from his Hawaii bowl performance last year. Also, June Jones really needs to study up on his clock management,it's been abysmal in the last two games. Overall though, I think the outlook for this program is very positive.

It was solid purple both when I came in and when I left. I got behind some that had never been through airport security before. One guy put every item in one of the plastic tubs. 1 shoe in a tub. Second shoe in a tub. Wallet in a tub. Hanging bag in a tub. Carry on bag in a tub. He used 8 in all. Then lost his drivers license and had to wait while he found it. Cannot imagine what they will be like in California.

Re: OFFICIAL Bowl Game Complaint thread
I was disappointed in some of JJ's play calls and the season long problem of not having our offense and defense both playing 4 qtrs in the games. I'm bummed that this was my 3rd bowl game to attend and we lost. But, it's a great time to be a MUSTANG. I loved the fact that we had a bowl game on our campus------------awesome. It was nice to see that Gary SInise actually can smile---------and he has a great one! Today's SMU students are SOOOOOOO very lucky to be able to walk to the Blvd and then to the game! Even though we were disappointed w/the final score, we were talking about going to the A&M game.......btw..........is the schedule posted yet?

The interference call on Army's first drive was horrible.

Zero penalties on Army. That is hard to swallow. Cut blocks and all. I remember seeing a penalty flag thrown when an Army wide out put a crack-back block on Margus. But apparently the referee was over-ruled because the flag was picked up with no penalty assessed.

It wasn't a crack block-but I thought it was blocking below the waist for sure. I think that is allowed within what is it 3 or 5 yards of the llne of scrimmage which is probably why the flag was picked up. Anybody know the rule?

I'm back in socal after being literally the last passenger on the plane at DFW as US Airways had oversold the plane by 20+ people and they began offering $450.00 + hotel for anyone to give up their seat.
Needless to say there were no takers among the "confirmed" Purple Throng!
Then the connector in Phoenix to John Wayne behind the "Orange Curtain" was also overbooked as well and I was again the last passenger loaded.
HB Pony Daughter's complaint was why in the blazes do you start a Bowl Game at 11:00 AM when University Students on break do not awaken before 1:00 PM. She advised me that was the reason the Ponies didn't start playing until the beginning of the 2nd half.
She also wanted to know why JJ calls a TO right when the wind dies on the final FG attempt and then the wind picks up again as the attempt is finally MISSED! She also wanted to know why SMU didn't compensate for the crosswind.
Being unable to answer these complaints I suggested she apply personally to JJ for a Student Assistant Coaching Position for Special Teams!
