I think I understand that much better how what happened in the 80s came about....I am already tired of hearing about the greatness of TCU from everyone here in the office, and that is compunded by their remarks on how its good that SMU just "made a bowl game".
Do you thing JJ....Turner, give him what he needs! We've got to whip these guys next year in Fort Worth.

To help ease your pain listening to the Frogs, just turn around and pick on the Longhorns.
Stallion doesn't think I'm a stinkin' genius anymore.

Let's not SMU nation. That will be short-lived and end badly (for SMU).
gotta enjoy it while we can though.

Re: The Monday After
On the plus side, I can imagine JJ watching the Frogs go toe to toe with the Badgers for sixty minutes. If the game were played again or the game longer, Wisconsin might have won.
The lesson is that a private school can play with anyone for one game. TCU has build an engine that has been strong for a long time and that should give us and other smaller schools the incentive to pursue excellence.
We are not on a level playing field, but a select number of non-AQ, private schools can be relevance and scare the pigs at the BC$ trough. There can be exceptions to the rule and SMU needs to demonstrate that. No more excuses!

Indeed - but that's Baylor - we get them again for the next 6 years, beginning on Sept 10, 2011, starting here in Ford Stadium.
Haven't beaten them since 1986, but we came close in our last game in 2005...

Don't worry. Be Happy. Or not.
Re: The Monday After
I was under the impression Baylor dropped us next year.
