Re: Worst Super Bowl Ever
Stallion, I love you, man, but WE didn't do anything to screw this up. It's February in Dallas...this happens. After the NFLp tallies the receipts, they'll be plenty happy with how it turned out. When atlanta hosted, it iced; last time in Phoenix, rain and cold all week; last time in Miami, soggy field and rain on game day. The only way to avoid weather would be Hawaii, and even then it would rain occasionally. Just wait till Indy and NYC.
And I agree, this snow is beautiful...now make it go away!

Least we forget that absolutely wonderful Detroit Stupor Bowl. The one where the players union threatened labor action if the NFL ever put a Stupor Bowl in a frozen tundra again. It was decades before another Stupor Bowl returned to anything other than a desert or subtropic venue.

Four new inches on the ground so far this morning in UP.
Worst Super Bowl Ever
Isn't this why it is played in domes? So the weather won't matter.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
Re: Worst Super Bowl Ever
With Indianapolis and NY coming up, this will look like a heat lamp. When was the last time that the Phoenix Open had to postpone tee times for frost? This is a 100 year storm (Al Gore will say this is a result of climate change-although two years ago it was Global Warming). In DC we've only had about 7 or 8 days where temperatures got above freezing since early December. I remember when I was at SMU, we were wearing shorts many times during the first week of February and I remember cold weather the same week. Its just a matter of whether the wind is coming from the north or the south.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

except we skipped the part where it was below freezing four days in a row.
The shtity thing about this weather is that Dallas & suburbs don't salt the highways (or whatever green alternative there is to using salt). I've seen them dump some sand here and there...but I've been in storms like this in Indy several times and that's the difference.

Welcome to Minneapolis South...lol.
As you know, I love Minnesota and my ties are vast. However, I've never said that I was on board with this time of year.

Correct, though we did have something like 50 hours straight below freezing in January.
They are using Magnesium Chloride apparently...I don't think it works as well as good old salt.

I guarantee it's 70 degrees sometime next week..if it's Monday, I'll laugh at Jerry Jones.
