That would make for a great High School uni.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

And we're wearing white and red unis this year. Let it go.
For what it's worth, Arizona State is going to break out an all-black uniform at some point this year, which will help them fit in with USC, Washington, Oregon and it's freakshow arrangements, etc.
