North Texas Reciever dismissed from team
Do we know anything about this kid? is he someone we would even consider? Not that NT cast offs are desirable, just wondering?
Sports, and all that implies.

Why do so many posters misspell the word "receiver"? Our receivers coach doesn't even get it right.

It's a different position they have at NTU, wide reciever, not a wide receiver. Very special, very rare. That's why it made the news.

Just always use WR and then you don't have to worry about it.

Maybe he was kicked off the team because his grades were too high and were messing up the team (and school) GPA.

There are approximately 46 "exceptions" to this rule. I before E except after C? What about neighbor, weigh, eitht, forfeit, veil....and about 40 more?

The actual helping rhyme is " I before E except after C or when sounding like A as in neighbor and weigh". And yes there are always exceptions to any rule such as punishing small schools for NCAA violations and letting large schools skate, or TCU fans posting on SMU boards.

Forfeit and veil don't sound like A as in neighbor, right?

First, I acknowledged there are exceptions. Second, how did they teach you to pronounce veil where you grew up?
