A&M game tickets
For those that can't buy tickets via SMU's allotment, A&M is putting other seats on sale 8/2. http://www.12thmanfoundation.com/ticket ... ckets.aspx
Since I am sure SMU will sellout the "official" visitor sections, I guess I need to plan on sitting in Section 524 like I did for the game in 2005. http://www.12thmanfoundation.com/ticket ... chart.aspx

Really? If so, I'll call the ticket office tomorrow morning.
I thought SMU fans were fired up to attend this game? Why the lackluster response so far?

Don't get me started.

Re: A&M game tickets
I would suspect many factors to the fickle SMU faithful. However, now is the time to stop making excuses and be a true fan.
1 - Labor Day
2 - It will be hot as hell
3 - A&M is a horrible place
I'll see you there

1 - True, that could impact some folks' plans. But the college football season begins every year on Labor Day weekend, so it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.
2 - How is that different from any other day in TX this summer?
3 - Maybe so, but we don't have to live there. I am driving in before the game and leaving immediately afterwards.

I agree 100%. If we want to show we are ready for the big time, our attendance at both at home and road games should reflect it.

In the SMU section but not sure where that is. According to Terry Hemme, the tickets will be assigned within the next two weeks and we should receive our tickets in 3 to 4 weeks.

Thanks One Trick, the Devil made me do it!

Re: A&M game tickets
I paid for my four tickets to the game, but I need to work on the lodging. Anyone have any recommendations for College Station? I understand you have to pay for two nights. Does that mean Saturday and Sunday night or Sunday night and Monday night? Game is on Sunday night. I am sure they have a Marriott Courtyard or something like that.

My "lackluster" response is due to my experience the last time SMU played at Kyle Field. I'll follow the team anywhere - except College Station.
