I agreed with him on his philosophy about recruiting.

He said I'm going to tell them the same thing the other coaches are going to tell them, I spend 15-20 minutes with a player but let my players help recruit the players to get them on board. I want players who want to play here..

In that respect, I'm right there with June. Don't sell your soul.
Again, this is consistent with June who told everybody from DAY 1 that he did things differently.

Thanks...Just wanted to make sure he didnt say anything to the extent of My staff and I try to outwork everyone else to bring in the best kids....
Or wondering if he was truthful My staff and I collect massive paychecks in hawaii while other schools come into our backyard and get first crack at the best recruits...

Legitimate Question-does anybody know why Odum has been sent to Florida to recruit-and has disappeared in Texas? Does he have contacts or hometown there-maybe a vacation rental in Key Biscayne. He played and Coached in Utah. His resume includes no stops within a 1,000 miles of Florida. He seemed relatively active early in the recruiting season-doesn't seems like any reports of much going on in months anywhere. I understand the concept of Klemm in California-what's the deal with Odum in Florida

Good question considering one of his territories is central Texas and at least one coach who has produced multiple d1 bcs athletes has lamented that SMU doesn't make much effort in that area. Have heard this for three years rolling..
