Participation chart
Appears that Holleman did not play as was indicated. I have noticed that in games when the outcome is decided, Jones is still hesitant to play other players to get a feel for their real game abilities. Just musing.

Re: Participation chart
Did Wimbley play at RB? I didn't notice him. JJ probably decided to save those players for the conference schedule.

Re: Participation chart
I have always wondered the same thing. How does a coach so respected in some areas still have his starters in the game with 4 or 5 minutes left , risking injury, although behind by 29 points? Is it to pad the stats for postseason honors...to make the run and shoot look more productive than it is? Do you think he was more surprised by McDermotts performance just as he was when Padron replaced Bo Levi and led us to our first bowl in years? How does he feel to see Bo Levi leave and become a much-better QB under a different coach? How does it help recruiting if guys know there is no chance for playing time unless you start? Would Jeremy Johnson be a big-time playmaker if given the opportunity like high school instead of wasting a freshman year when he could have redshirted? It all comes back that we are fans but you have to think his experience and methods , while different, are what he thinks are best to help us win both now and in the future.

I didn't see anyone play at RB other than Line.

Re: Participation chart
Looks like only 3 true FR played yesterday: Jared Williams, Rodney Hubert and Stephon Sanders.
Brad Namdar is listed as having played, but he's not on the roster that I could see. Mistake?
I thought I saw RS FR D.Thompson in the secondary at one point. He did not look good running back kicks (FR nerves?) We could use his speed this year

It was Jay Scott wearing the same #7 in the secondary. D. Thompson to me played scared, both returning kicks and at receiver. At KR he looked hesitant and did not appear to be getting up field with urgency. At WR he simply dropped the ball in his hands. I'm not sure if he heard footsteps but it should have been an easy catch.

Cameron Smith played - was in on the opening kickoff return team
