Most Disappointing Players This Year
Other that Kyle, my vote is Taylor Thompson, where has he been?
His tackles have been soft and not complete wrap-ups; he has disappeared from the defense. Is that a fair assessment? or he getting double teamed on every play?

Re: Most Disappointing Players This Year
That would be a good question for JJ at the Monday luncheon. Since we don't see film of the games we really can't make much of an analysis but JJ would certainly know.

Yeah he has lost about 4 sacks so far due to not wrapping up QBs.

I would actually vote for Margus Hunt (on defense mind you). I thought he would be further along at this point in his career.

I pick Jones, then Morrison, and Reinbold. Gotta put Klemm next, O-line is not what I expected from the group that has started more games than any O-line in college football. Ganz has to improve our special teams. They are not up to par. Guess the defense gets a bye, because we've played 2 weak sisters and they done well. A&M dominated them, but didn't expect much. Jones needs to improve or go back to his coveted islands. Noticed he was without the lei. And the lights were better. How many long balls were dropped? Hmmmm. Excuse or reality?

The most disappointing thing to me is the focus on disappointing after winning.

I agree with you. Taylor was dominated at A$M by a true sophomore. And barely noticed against inferior competition the last two weeks. Needs to pick it waaaay up, if he wants to get drafted.

He is playing very very well this year, I would argue better than both starting DEs. Best combo is with Frazier at the nose.

I think the best combo is Frazier at nose on passing plays, which is what they are doing. Pittman at nose on running plays seems to be doing very well.
I personally have no problem with Thompson. He has been very close to getting sacks and has several QB hurries. Our rush defense has been super (opponents noted) so he has to be performing well there. I firmly believe he will be all conference when all is said and done.
