Premium Seating For SMU-UCF Match-Up

Post by jimbo4584 »

What exactly is this Hall of Champion seating?

Oct. 5, 2011

DALLAS (SMU) - For next weekend's rematch of the 2010 C-USA Championship Game, SMU will offer single-game premium seating, as tickets for the Hall of Champions will be sold for the Saturday, October 15th match-up with UCF. Kick-off is at 2:30 p.m., and for $50, fans will get admission to the HOC, a fully-catered buffet and high-definition views of the action on flat-screen televisions all in air-conditioned comfort.

Fans can cheer on the SMU Mustangs in style and bring friends and family to this contemporary banquet hall located on the third floor of SMU's Loyd All-Sports Center. With amazing views of the field, this is a great way to watch the game.

There is limited availability, so fans wishing to buy these tickets should call 214-768-4263 today.

Fans can also still get in on SMU's "Iron Skillet Special", which allows fans to catch every minute of the four remaining home games for just $40.33 and see SMU battle UCF (10/15), Tulane (11/5), Navy (11/12) and Rice (11/26).

endzone seating. Not as nice as premium upstairs area. Would like more people downstairs where they can be seen on tv

Sit outside. It's more fun and we need people in visible seats

It's nice, but it is not quite the club. I'd prefer lower bowl midfield.

The more we need people in the stands the more they promote getting them out of the stands. I just do not comprehend. It might have been justified when it was 110 outside but this is just moving people out of the stadium.

I was talking to a TCU friend and the way there end zone club seating is set up is you sit out side but have access to the club behind you. That a good set up to be able to sit out side then have the amenities of the club including the bar/AC/TVs/Food ect. You get the best of both worlds.

Agreed, they did it right. I've posted before that our stadium was designed on the cusp of the rethinking of stadium design. Had we done it a few years later, it would look dramatically different.
