The Other DT.

Post by Coach Rob »

Everyone knows about Steven Coleman, however his partner in crime on the playing field is Travis Ferguson. Travis starting to get a lot of attention. He is 6'1" 280lbs. runs 5.06 forty and use outstanding technique. Travis had such a good Nike camp that now school like K-State, Miami, SMU and A&M are extremely interested. Travis is a great young man both on and off the field. Travis is a memeber of the National Honor Society and is ranked #43 out 880 students in his class. He has already taken the SAT and scored an 990, however he's not satisfied and plans to retake the test. I spoke with Coach Giles last night and he is extremely excited about recruiting Travis. Check out Travis' top schools later today on eteamz.com/metroplexrecruiting

Hey Coach, do Travis and Steven have any interest in playing together at the next level? Is there a chance they'd try to find a school that would recruit both? Think of the fans they could have if they stay in Dallas - where they belong!

They have thought of playing at that the next level together. There are only a couple of schools that are interested in both and they are A&M and SMU.

Keep them together at SMU.
They can be a pair of hometown stars.

So one of them is 6-1, 280 and the other is 6-5, 295. Sounds like UT when they had Casey Hampton and Shaun Rogers in the middle. I'd say those two fared pretty well. What a combo Ferguson and Coleman would make at SMU. Hope (Skyline's) Coach Brittain sends these fellas to his alma mater.

Coach Rob, have you introduced Coach Brittain to PonyFans.com? We'd love to hear more expert opinions. Good luck in the fall.
