I understand why he made the decision to leave after his Junior year. However, the best thing for him to do would have been to stay here and play his Senior season.

Especially after that Hawaii Bowl game...he had momentum and potential. Shame

Its my understanding he did what was best for him due to grade problems. Hope he can find a way to still get a degree, and SMU as a program makes sure to do everything so that other players are not left in that situation. Another year would have been great for both Shawnbrey and SMU.
