Re: Coaches Poll
That puts us at #29!
If you think about it, the 1 vote for TCU could have been from June Jones..

Re: Coaches Poll
Obviously Coaches from a particular conference will vote for their own conference mates to make the Conference look better

Coaches Poll
Good thing about being linked to two conferences is that there are more coaches who might want to vote for us based on that logic, right?

Re: Coaches Poll
we could get in with a win against southern miss and some others dropping out, but i think we need 2 more wins, we are really starting to get noticed nationally... gotta do our part and keep taking care of business on the field

Yes.. sadly I looked at that list AFTER I posted my snide remark.
Oh well. Someone gave TCU some love. It might help SMU a bit.

Re: Coaches Poll
There are so many very good teams. To be considered among the top 40 is great. We don't need somebody from Maine or Montana to validate we have a very good footbal team.
Re: Coaches Poll
I can remember when we were ranked as one of the worst 10 teams every week. Obviously this is a huge improvement and it's very exciting to be listed in the same class as such prolific teams.

Re: Coaches Poll
Here is a site for the AP poll. It shows how many votes each school received and highest rating. Run your icon over the numbers and it lists who the voters were. Run it over the "unranked" and it will show who didn't vote for that school. FYI Craig James voted for us.
