Recruiting Question

Who is this defensive end I keep hearing about, Bruce Davis? I read where he was committed to Texas, then backed off. Where's he from? How big is he? What schools is he considering?

He's a defensive end from Clear Creek which is in League City (about halfway between Houston & Galveston on I-45).

He gave a verbal commitment to Texas back in May/June before deciding he wasn't ready to commit afterall. He's debating between Texas and UCLA who have both offered.

He grew up in Houston area while his Dad played for the Oilers. Both his father and uncle played for the Bruins back in the day. Thus the decision conflict for Bruce. Both schools reportedly have him as a priority and it could be a real battle.
