Report: Boise St., Big East on verge of a deal!

A leading college official said Boise State and Air Force, two key pieces to the rebuilding plan, "are at the altar" with the Big East, characterizing the recent discussions as positive.

Now if we can assure Navy and Air Force, I'll be a happy panda. Toss in BYU for good measure and we got ourselves a more interesting football conference than the old Big East and C-USA ever were.

If he is credible I assume he means two 6 team divisions instead of two 12 team divisions.

BYU for Louisville would definitely be an upgrade IMO for football.

Wonder if thats why things are leaking that WVU and UL are going to big 12 per tulsa beat writer:

Not a question of if but how. Some talk about taking one now, and the second next year

Hahaha-I'm sure that was a typo. If i'm not mistaken, Luicci was one ofthe first to confirm the "SMU to the Big East" rumors a couple of Friday nights ago.
