ESPN Ticker: SMU to BE but LIKELY 2013

Ticker on ESPN for the BYU-Tarrant County U game said SMU, UCF and Houston to Big East to be announced next week but likely for 2013. I had read other reports saying we'd go for next season - 2012.

Its going to depend on what happens with Missouri, West Virginia, Syracuse and Pitt. They have 8 schools. Lose two to ACC and 1 to Big 12

One would think that changing conferences could be a simple thing. But itn will not be. One would think 2013 at the earliest.

Besides, I want one more shot at USM next year.

There are scheduling issues, contract issues and mile long list of to do items. I am sure the schools, their staffs and legal teams will be busy gearing up for a transition and 2012 is too short a time frame.

Then again, it could all fall through and the worse we will be is CUSA.

Nah...its all about $...many $ will be exchanged to make things happen in a much faster time frame. Exits fees will be highly inflated and schedules will be revised so it all happens in a much quicker time frame. No one wants to play in a league that doesn't want them. They are all scrambling....27 months be damned.

SMU - Rutgers. Sweet!!!

If everyone would stay put...BOISE...the CUSA/MWC superfriends conference would get AQ status and the Big East would implode. Rivarlies wouldnt be disrupted an fans would get a better product.

Its just f----ing awful I hate the BCS. Its ruined football

I have no idea what conf amerika will do. I like the superconference. Maybe they add La Tech on the east side and Utah State on the west side.

Personally I dont think Boise moves but who knows.

I just hate the whole thing. I understand you guys are happy to get a seat at the table but you have to admit that this is [deleted] and awful for CFB.
