Teams to cheer for

Post by PonyPlayer4 »

Moving forward I believe us Ponyfans should scoreboard watch or cheer for :

The reamiaining 5:
UL, UCONN, USF, Rutgers, Cincy
We need 1 of these 5 to win the conference and take the AQ bid away from the 3 that are leaving.

Boise - We need Boise to remain undefeated, and beat the Frogs to the West. More BCS points for the next re-eval.

Houston - It would be nice to see Houston go undefeated and accumulate as many BCS points as possible. Who knows if they can back door their way into a BCS game. Also, the added bonus of splitting the BCS bowl money.

Going to have a tough case convincing me to cheer for Houston to go undefeated.

It will make no difference once we become bowl eligible and get to 7-8 wins. We are either Hawaii or Ticket City Bowl. We are out of the championship race this year. I'm thinking long term.

I understand what you are saying but I am going to be cheering for SMU. Are you really saying that if SMU already has 7 or 8 wins going into that game you will be actively cheering for UH because it is best for the long term?

I would never cheer for UH, but it won't be the worst thing if we lost. I'm thinking last year how Nevada ended up costing themselves millions of dollars by beating Boise.

Sorry, I guess i misinterpreted the title of your post as implying that you were going to list the teams to cheer for. Not sure how I made that mistake.

It is what it is. Don't take everything so literally. You know what I meant. First post says Scoreboard watch OR cheer for. Scoreboard watch for UH.

If you root for cougar high you are a horrible human being
Trey was using the powers of Gamehendge to allow the show to continue, to give the band the strength it needed to help break through this barrier

94- with all due respect. I lived in SugarLand for 8 years and there are 7-11s in Houston.

I love how we are already rationalizing a loss to UH
