PonyFans techie question?

Post by Special_Delivery_Smu_Fans »

Can anyone tell me why PonyFans is the only website I get this pop-up message on?

Not that this will solve it, but try switching to Firefox or Chrome for a better browsing experience in general

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Cox you have an MBA let me put it in laymen terms.

You have a business you agree to pay $1 every time a perspective client opens a PONYFANS page. You set a max limit of $500 for your marketing budget. When $500 impressions have been made it rolls over to the next advertiser. When all of the advertisers are depleted the site is open to pretty much free advertising from google that has much lower standards of code that is written on the fly . Sounds stupid and is.

The real fix should be: stop banner ads. Charge a small fee. Or code stop google
Or as a user get smart and use the above mentioned browsers.

My fee is $333

The site traffic varies in season and out
you need a marketing department to pitch ROI even on little ole PONYFANS

Just come and drink the lemonade and use tapatalk

Thanks guys. Will do on a different browser. I will say PonFans gives me the most problems ad-wise/pop-up wise than any single site I visit on the entire internet, but it's well worth it and I will chnage browsers just for PonFans if thats whats needed. Go Mustangs Beat Tulane!

I have tried them all and Firefox is by far the best. You won't see that crap on Firefox.
