Exactly where I was hoping we would be. I figured we would be 5-4 right now before the season. An 8 win season would be the most in the regular season since JJ got here (we went 7-5 in 09 right?). Even If we go 7-5 it would still be our third consecutive 7 win season (regular season), which I am also happy about. Eventually we will break through and get to 9 or ten wins.

I figured (hoped) we'd be 8-1 at this point, but I am still happy.

the team is still growing and maturing. I like it.

No way we lose to rice. I've seen them in person and they are god awful.

If we don't beat navy it will be a dissapointingnfinish to the season.

I hope to play UH close. Their D is lousy but their O more than makes up for it

pretty nice win for Rice beating UTEP which has played well. Navy rolled Troy 42-14. Navy is a lot better team than some probably think-I noticed that Santiago kid who was supposed to be out for the year is back and put up some big numbers. Navy's biggest problem when I've seen them is on defense-they look extremely slow
